Playbill.com – Tony-Winning Gay Baseball Drama Take Me Out Premieres in Singapore

Richard Greenberg’s Tony Award-winning baseball drama Take Me Out receives its Singapore premiere Jan. 8.

Paul Lucas directs the production that runs through Jan. 16 at the DBS Arts Centre, followed by a Jan. 18-31 transfer to the Alliance Française Theatre. Take Me Out is produced in Singapore by Tim Garner Productions Pte. Ltd, which produces contemporary LGBT plays.

“With Take Me Out, we’ll be taking our Singapore audiences on a journey straight to New York City, and with five cast members being Americans, taking our audiences authentically into our characters’ very American lives and into the very American tradition of baseball,” Garner said in a statement….
